
As you may already have noticed, Council are carrying out construction works at the intersection of William Berry Drive and Dickson Road, Morayfield.
The full project works are scheduled to be completed by mid/late 2025, weather permitting.
OVERVIEW OF WORKS
Key improvements will involve:
• Reconfiguration of intersection approaches to improve lane designations
• Widening of Dickson Road to provide a left and right turn lane from Dickson Road into William Berry Drive
• Reconfiguration of the existing zebra crossing and installation of three pedestrian refuges
• Removal and reconstruction of the retaining wall on the western side of Dickson Road
• Construction of a 2 metre wide pathway, associated plantings of street trees and street lighting.

PLEASE NOTE UPDATE AS AT 16 MAY:
Due to the ongoing wet weather and rain forecast for tonight (Friday 16th) the planned pavement reconstruction works at the shopping centre car park driveway have been postponed. The asphalt works currently in progress on William Berry Drive will be completed, temporary asphalt ramps put in place where required, and the road reopened by Saturday (17th May) 7:00am. Further advice will be provided when the pavement reconstruction works at the shopping centre car park driveway are planned.
UPDATE AS AT 13 JUNE:
The Northern on-grade carpark Entry/Exit will be undergoing works by council on the nights of 22nd, 23rd & 24th June from 6:30pm to 6:00am.
