The council will be commencing the final leg of William Berry Drive upgrades from Mid-May 2026. This stage of works completes an upgrade that will improve safety and traffic flow for motorists, pedestrians and cyclists.
This final stage includes stormwater renewal and road resurfacing works on the eastern side of William Berry Drive behind Morayfield Shopping Centre and adjacent to the train line. Construction will be sequenced to minimise impact with three stages to occur as follows:
Stage 1 – Mid May to early July (approximately 7 weeks) – see Red on map
Stage 2 – Early July to early August (approximately 4 weeks) – see yellow on map
Stage 3 – Early August to Mid September (approximately 6 weeks) – see green on map
Please note that the above timings are subject to weather. Works will generally be undertaken during 6am to 5pm Monday to Friday. As sections of the road will be closed as per the map during these times, we ask that you seek alternative routes when travelling around the Shopping Centre.
